About

Abraham Oppong is a painter who lives in London, United Kingdom.
Working predominantly with acrylics and oil paints on canvas, the artist has been able to contribute their take on figurative art and semi-abstract landscapes with a hint of surrealism at times through their ongoing practice. Oppong takes influences from Rene Magritte and Edward Hopper, inspiring their modern style most noted for the use of composition, colour and light. There is an eminent theme of 'solitude' in their work which draws in the observer as a subject of the painting.
"The soul that sees beauty may sometimes walk alone".
